It's all about making the employees happy
here at EZ Micro
EZ Micro has gone through many exciting changes this year. We are so proud of our rebranding and amazing new website. (thank you 3Seed Marketing)

The entire office has gone from traditional sit-down desks to adjustable height desks. With a push of a button, the surface of the desk adjusts smoothly and quietly in seconds and everyone is reaping the added health benefits associated with standing more throughout the day.

Our newest renovation to the office is a lounge / waiting area for our customers and employees to enjoy. The old desk was torn out and replaced with a comfy couch and chair, throw rug, reading material and the relaxing sound of a fountain in the background.

As always, we welcome you to stop on in. We love visitors!!!
We Have the BEST Boss EVER!!!!!!!
EZ Micro was open on July 3rd to serve our customers, however, Dave made sure we had fun and a full belly while we were here!

Thank you, Michael and Greg, for going shopping, grilling and preparing our lunch, it was DELISH!
Allentown Rescue Mission - Changing Lives.
By Wendy Benedict
Not many people know of our work transition program. We are not a " 3 hots and a cot " kind of shelter. We have our emergency shelter with 66 beds but we also have robust programming and a work transition program called the Clean Team!

A Brief History of The Clean Team

While our nation has been experiencing record high unemployment levels, the Allentown Rescue Mission has been instrumental in creating local jobs and putting men in need back to work. Clean Team workers go from being recipients of services to wage-earning, tax-paying members of our community.

Can a mobile phone battery track you?
used with permission from Norton by Symantec

With this little known exploit, a mobile phone's battery life can actually be used to track online behavior. Security researchers have found that the battery status API of mobile devices can be used to track people online. In some instances, this can be used to upsell services purchased through a mobile app, ride sharing "surge pricing" for example.

By Stacy Wescoe, July 3, 2017 at 8:00 AM
Having pets at work is becoming more common and helps to reduce stress and helps make people happier, more productive and more social. It also helps to recruit and retain talent, especially young adults.

Many experts praise the health benefits of having a pet.

Dr. Kurt Venator, a veterinarian for Purina Pets in St. Louis, said studies have shown that interacting with animals is good for your health, lowering stress hormones, improving blood pressure and encouraging exercise.

Infarm wants to put a farm in every grocery store
By Steve O'Hear
Imagine a future where you go into a grocery store to buy some fresh basil, and, as you traverse the aisle, instead of polythene bags containing mass-produced snippets of the herb that have been flown in from thousands of miles away, in front of you are a stack of illuminated containers, each housing a mini basil farm.

The plants themselves are being monitored by multiple sensors and fed by an internet-controlled irrigation and nutrition system. Growing out from the centre, the basil is at ascending stages of its life, with the most outer positioned leaves ready for you, the customer, to harvest.

We visited OrCam's office in Jerusalem to try out the device.
