How to Request Service From EZ Micro Solutions  |   Electronic Recycling Information
Greetings from EZ Micro

I don't know if you've ever heard people talking about having a "word" for the year. Basically, all it means is that someone has chosen a word that they feel is important for them to focus on for the upcoming year. Words such as "Discipline", "Joy", "Patience"—anything that will inspire and help you to grow (note: if you want more info on the one word concept, check out the book of the month section).

Some people believe it is a word God gives them and some just believe it is something they choose for themselves. Either way, it is a word that is on your heart, and probably important to incorporate in your life.

One of the things that I am focusing on this year is the word "slow". I am very much a "can't sit still" kind of person. If I am doing anything, I usually find myself trying to figure out how I can do it faster or more efficiently. While those can be great qualities to have, they can easily make you more stressed and lose track of the moments themselves.

What do I mean by that? Let's take something simple like driving. If I have a 20 minute drive and traffic is slowing me down, I have two choices. I can either launch WAZE on my phone and see if it's possible to shorten my travel time, or I can relax, stay on the route, and enjoy the scenery or listen to a podcast.

Yes, I might save myself 5 minutes of what I would normally consider "wasted time", but, let's be honest—will those 5 minutes truly make a difference? Maybe the real difference will be made if I slow down and enjoy that "wasted time".

I often find myself so involved in trying to improve a process or complete it faster that I lose the beauty of the moment of the activity itself.

Starship robots will deliver pizza and coffee to George Mason students
By Jon Fingas

It just became that much easier for students to grab food without interrupting a study break. Starship and Sodexo have launched a robot food delivery service at Virginia's George Mason University, giving students and staff access to food within an average of 15 minutes or less. Pay $2 through Starship's mobile app and one of the more than 25 automatons will deliver pizza, coffee and other grub to a convenient pickup point on campus. It even ties into the school's student meal plans (the first such tie-in anywhere, according to Starship) and debit program.

One Word That Will Change Your Life

By: Jon Gordon

One Word explains how to simplify your life and business by focusing on just ONE WORD for the entire year. The simplicity of choosing one word makes it a catalyst for life-change. Clutter and complexity lead to procrastination and paralysis, while simplicity and focus lead to success and clarity.

Each month, we will feature one of our employees' favorite apps! If you're anything like me, you're always interested in knowing what's new out there.

Smart glasses design projects images right into the eye
By James Holloway
Researchers have developed a new way to build augmented reality smart glasses that projects images directly into the eye rather than using lenses as a display. It's hoped the approach could shrink down smart glasses and AR headsets, potentially making them indistinguishable from day to day eyewear.

For now, this is theoretical and somewhat limited in scope. A prototype based on these methods would be capable of rendering texts and icons only. Projecting video into the eye wouldn't be possible at this stage.
